Formatting Powerpoint Handouts using ms word 2007

Handouts are basically thumbnails of slides. Its also used to take the presentations as printout.
Handouts allow to provide more detailed information than a slide. They give your audience something to take away from your presentation, to review later. They are one more way for your listeners to be reminded of you and your key messages.

In PowerPoint presentation click view and press Handout Master.

Formatting Powerpoint Handouts using Word 2007

Step1: Click the Office Button in Powerpoint presentation.
Step2: Choose Publish, select Create Handouts in Microsoft Office Word.
Step3: Send to Microsoft Office Word popup will appear.
Step4: Choose the page layout you wish to use and select the corresponding radio button.
Step5: And then add slides to Microsoft Office document.
Step6: Click Ok.

Note: Now you can use Word’s formatting tools to make your handouts look the way you want them to.

MS Word 2007 Using Chart

Step1-Position your cursor where you would like to insert the chart

Step2-Open the Insert ribbon

Step3- Click Chart in the Illustrations section

Step4-Select the style of chart you would like to insert

Step5-Click OK

Note: The chart will appear in your document. Additionally, an Excel worksheet opens. You can enter your data in the worksheet. It will automatically update the chart in Word.

Modify Slide Numbering in Power point

Step1: Go to the Ribbon and select the Design tab.
Step2: Click Page Setup.
Step3: Use the Number slides from box to select the desired number to begin your slide numbering.
Step4: Click OK

Removing Extra Breaks in Word Document & Internet contents

1. Press Ctrl + H to open the Find and Replace dialog box

2. In the first box, enter ^p^p (the “p” must be lower case)

3. In the second box, enter ^p

4. Click Replace All

If you copied the text from the Internet, this might not work for you.

Change a word in to Title Case in Excel Cell using Macro

Q : Does anyone have a Macro to change the Title case of every word in an excel cell?

A: enter the following formula:


Copy down to the last row and then select all of column B and copy it with

Click on cell A1 and then right click on Cell A1 and select PASTE SPECIAL,
click the VALUES check box and click OK to replace all the original values
with there proper name format values. Delete column B when done.
